Services Provided
Dustin Hellen offers private and group saxophone instruction, which may be delivered online or in person depending on your selected registration package. We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue lesson formats, curriculum, or available time slots at our discretion.
Enrollment and Account Registration
Accuracy of Information: When you fill out a contact form, request a consultation, or register for lessons, you agree to provide accurate and current contact details (such as your name, email address, and phone number).
Age Requirement: Students under the age of 18 must have the explicit consent of a parent or legal guardian to register for lessons and accept these terms.
Payment, Billing, and Lesson Packages
Rates: Lesson fees are clearly outlined in our pricing schedules (e.g., 30-minute or 60-minute weekly options). Prices are subject to change, but existing students will be given advance notice.
Billing: Payments for lesson packages are processed securely through our trusted third-party payment gateways (such as Stripe or PayPal) prior to the start of your scheduled lesson.
Forfeiture: Failure to pay for a scheduled session or package balance may result in the immediate suspension or cancellation of your lesson time slot.
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
All scheduled saxophone lessons are strictly subject to our Online Lesson Cancellation Policy, which dictates:
The 24-Hour Rule: You must provide at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Late cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be billed at the full rate, and no make-up lesson will be provided.
Lateness & No-Shows: Instructors will wait in the online classroom for a maximum of 15 minutes. If you do not arrive within this window, the lesson is deemed a "No-Show" and the fee is forfeited.
Intellectual Property
Studio Content: All materials found on this website—including logos, text, lesson blueprints, graphics, audio tracks, and videos—are the intellectual property of Dustin Hellen and are protected by copyright laws.
Student Resources: Any downloadable materials provided to you in your student "Resources" tab (such as PDF fingering charts, custom backing tracks, or guides) are for your personal, non-commercial educational use only. You may not redistribute, share, or sell these resources.
Limitation of Liability
Dustin Hellen works diligently to provide high-quality online music instruction. However, we cannot be held liable for personal technical issues, internet service interruptions, or hardware failures on the student's end that disrupt a scheduled online session. Lessons disrupted by instructor-side technical faults will be fully credited or rescheduled.
